 A combination of two images: the first is an image of Earth from space taken on the computer screen, the second is an image of my hand wearing a latex and knit work glove against a white background to make it easy to cut and move...cropped the earth image and adjusted levels, curves, and did some dodging of the earth... I selected the glove from white background and changed hue to green from a purplish color, cloned out the brand name on back; then used liquify to give the hand an alien look...selected the glove and moved it onto the earth from space image, adjusted curves to darken it, used matting to remove any white edges, then merged the image and made minor hue/saturation adjustments.

Interesting idea, however, it seems overly done to me. I am guessing the hand/texture was shot than molded and the stars and planet where added. They just don't seem to combine very well here. Seems to be an outline around the fingers/knuckles of the hand.

This one looks nice, but it isn't overly impressive. Maybe too much digital art and not enough photogrpahy.
