 It was full moon, and i had just watched the movie "underworld" (story of the war between vampires and lycans...Brrrrr)
So this was my mood when taking this shot at the beautiful church of Alsenberg, not far from home.
Techs: Raw shot, conversion with included function of PS CS,crop, frame, resize, USM, save for web.
Lens Sigma 70-200@76 mm, monopod.

wonderful perspective. I think I miss that hair of DOF that would have made the left side of the building sharp.

I like the subject and the stone edifice against the black sky, but I think that the lighting in the forefront takes away from the ominous feel that the gargoyle and the stone seem to be representing.

He does look like a creature that should hide during the day, but of course he doesn't. Good choice to take the building at an angle - it increases the dramatic feel of the shot.

I see you've been sneaking around my house, taking pictures of me! How dastardly of you! I really like this shot. Your strong composition and point of view makes that gargoyle really stick out. Lighting is just a bit harsh, but a fun image.

good idea/subject, and even better execution. The dof really makes this image. The pov is great as well, but the dof makes it "jump" out of frame. Good work.
