beautiful and different portrait! I don't really think the eyes work here though, this would have been just as powerful if not more powerful as a full black and white

Her eyes just look too wonky with that pose. Which is just emphasised by the selective desaturation.

Very nice lighting and a good pose, the focus is sharp in eyes and the selective desat makes it even more beautiful
