 Gino was the first to come to my aid when I needed an after dark photo to submit for this challenge. I tried a number of techniques to capture his enthusiasm for 'saving' me even though he ran over my foot twice in the process. I think he actually wanted to get a 'Pole' position for the next race. I wanted a 'blur' of action yet some good focus on him so I set the camera to a manual mode. I used a speedlight with a 'Normal' flash setting along with a small aperture. I synched the flash to trigger at the start of the exposure to allow for some blur of the static lights while panning Gino in his Fire-Jeep. Thus, I had to adjust saturation, color levels & gamma. I then gave it a dose of USM and finished with a crop and border.

This is a cute photo, but I'm not sure Gino's truck rides are any better at night than in daylight. Still, a nice shot - well lighted and composed.

Great capture of the expression on Gino's face. It appears to me like he is being a cautious driver and using his side-view mirror. Good Luck.
