I love this angle! I love how personal it is, even though it's just stairs, it's a part of your life every day & a great capture! |

Love this shot - the black&white works great here, and the DOF really makes the picture more than 'just stairs'. |

Black and white was a great choice. You've taken one of the mundane things that surround us and made it interesting. A wonderful shot. |

Good choice to use b&w -- definitely appropriate. Really highlights the texture of the risers. Looks like a long set of stairs! |

I like the way the photograph doesn't show WHERE you are going, just that you ARE going there :) |

Great perspective and I love the dof you have used on this shot. Soft tones and contrast in the B&W conversion but the focus (imo) means that this suits the image rather than detracts from it |

I love stairs in photos, I'm always trying to capture them well, and that you have done! Good work. |

Lovely lines, excellent transition to b/w (method?) and the shallow DOF lends an air of -- I don't know, a feeling of "follow me and see where I lead", or something. (Rachel really must learn not to comment on images late at night.) |

B&W is indeed very appropriate and lends to the utilitarian feel. |
