 I shot this on a beautiful but freezing night. It was full moon, fresh snow everywhere, I wanted to try some moonlight photos. The moon was so bright, that most of the shots looked like shot on afternoon. They were great, but would probably receive many "Doesn't meet the challenge" comments :(

I hope this one will be good enough...

Nice composition, color, exposure. I love the perspective in this shot. I noticed the two branches sticking out from the right frame, it's not very distracting as the eyes are quickly drawn to height of the subject, but I think I'd prefer cropping it out. 7 - bumping up to 8

The texture of the rockface is great. The exposure is a little bit longer than I'd like to see it. The sky is banded or noisy or something. The castle is diffiuclt to define though.

Amazing, this is a great picture. The colors in the sky and the glow of the snow are wonderful. I might have chose to crop a little more on the right side just to get rid of the little twigs in the corner and the sign. But other than that, I love this.

This is an awesome photo and an awesome example of when you can get away with having two different qualities of light. The lamplight contrasting against the moonlight creates atmosphere. Beautiful. I can't wait to see your settings on this, not that I can think of one spot in my personal existance space to use this...

I can barely see the castle at the top of the mt, but still, you've captured a beautiful and breathtaking scene at night.

This is a very moody, mysterious picture. I like the greenish cast and the darkness outside the pools of light cast by the lamps.

I love the greeness which you've brought out there, it mixes in well with the purple colored night sky. The exposure and lighting is spot on here

Very intriguining shot! The light at the base is perhaps a tad too bright,but the light on the formation itself is really nice, especially on top. Composition is strong; my eyes do end up on the top of the formation, that I want to explore further.

A little bit closer and more carefull composition would have made this perfect. I love the colors of the sky and the mountain, very surreal. The branch on the right and the flagpost could have been cropped away. Or by taking the picture more from the right , you could have used the tree as left limit, while still capturing the red glow. 9

Your title fights a bit with the shot as the castle is hard to see and is overpowered by the lights.
