I've never really looked closely at the center on one of these.
On the outside, it looks like syringes like a dentist uses to administer Novocaine, and the delicate flowers on the inside, looking like, well, delicate flowers. ;)
The soft approach on this was the right choice. |

| Great composition. Aren't the middle of the flowers so interesting with their little swirly things and mini flowers? That's what's great about these pictures you get to see stuff you ordinarily wouldn't even know is there. Petals are a little blown out, but oh, that center is gorgeous! |

| Lovely detail and DOF. I used to have white ones in my garden but they died out. Less hardy than the purple ones, at least in my yard ;-) |

The way u shot this really makes the center pop and the BG compliments the greenery of Echinacae...
White echinacae's are nice..
