 My first "50 Days" entry. For today I've decided to try and free up my photos and not get sidetracked by the rules of photography! Viewers loss, my gain.

Also decided to come out of the closet (as it were) by allowing the viewer into my apartment. I usually don't let anyone in because I am embarassed by the clutter. No place to sit, either.

This is a partial view of bookshelves, desk, coatrack, etc. My bicycle is buried under those clothes, too. Rather reflects my state of mind.

Maybe at the end of this challenge I'll show you the same view tidied up. :-)

I would be a bit claustrophobic in there- but i will offer to come & organize it for you...I am sorry you are feeling "down"- you have my sympathy.

I love your book storage. I need something similar. My desk is equally....um...full of character. Great way to start the 50 days.

Seriously, those could be my bookshelves. Except mine have my bed under them, instead of my desk.

lol you certainly have a lot packed into a small area. kind of looks like my desk. Love all the bookshelves.

now that is a real life working space! i especially like the crop on the upper left side with the shelves coming in a little off kilter. i am drawn in through the huge pile of mail, to the screen, then led up to the human subject, and then up to the books and out. the clothes are such a menacing presence... i like that touch!
