 Took about 30 fuschia pics at the nursery today...and this is the only one that came out decent.
The colors of this particular one were lovely so I'm glad it turned out.

Thank you everyone for the very nice comments. I am stunned by the number of views on this photo in only 2 days.

Nice job on getting the colors nicely presented without over saturation. These flowers are a joy to look at. The greens are a bit bright for my tastes and dropping the green saturation and lightness (in Hue/Saturation adj) deepens the shot and makes it richer.

I love fuschias and so do hummingbirds... keep that camera handy aroung these baskets.

Such a happy happy group of flowers. Nice composition and inclusion of the bud in the upper right. Colors are spot on and not overdone which is easy with colors this intense.

Look at the structures in this flower! I wonder if the details would stand out more if you could separate the one in full bloom from it's background (the way that the bloom in the upper right is).

Fuschias always reminds me of little well dressed ladies. The petals, the way they are gathered remind me of voluminous skirts twirling about.
