mountain seems washsed out, along with the balance of the background. A littl emore contrast would keep my interest longer I think...nice stop action on the whale..and really nice image without the bg (tighter crop).

It would be very cool to see a killer whale leaping from the water like that. You are very lucky to have had that experience. This is very well framed...you keep the whale as the primary subject. But you also give it place with the distant terrain without overwhelming Mr. Orca. Great photo!

Excellent capture here. This one would be good for a action shot challenge. Here the whale is the main subject not the sea and therefor it doesnt fit the challenge so well.

Amazing shot! But I feel like the prominent feature of the photo is the whale, not the open water.
