 I had a very hard day at work, so my dear boyfriend volunteered to cook dinner. That means grilling.The brats were excellent, but being waited on and pampered was priceless!

Yummm, I knew immediately what it was even from the thumb since we grill lots of them too and have tongs just like that :-) Looks good!

Well, let me join in to the grub-chorus... though I couldn't imagine you would actually photograph lined up grubs. And you didn't! To everyone's relief. Love the accompanying story. Fun photo!

OMG I am rolling on the floor over here!! I thought that was a bunch of worms!! LOLOLOL!!! Nice to see that it is brats instead :) YAYYY!! A night off cooking!! You go girl!!

ETA: nice to know I am NOT crazy and NOT the only one that thought they were worms LOL

omg .. i thought they were worms as a thumb & i didnt know wot the tongs were .. as it was opening i saw the title, so the sausages were not a total surprise ...
we had some excellent sausages last night .. they were lamb, fetta and spinach ... very tasty when done on the barbeque !! .. looks like these were done on the bbq too .. :)..
edit .. i had another look at the thumb after i posted and it's obvious they are sausages .. looks like i need some better glasses !!!

I am so envious of you! Sausages just don't exist here... well not REAL ones anyway... Like the smoke rising here as well, nice job.

OH, I am so relieved. In the thumbnail these looked like grubs. But then it's awfully late at night and I should be in bed, so my judgment is skewed a bit.

Mmm, now I'm hungry, and I don't even like bratwurst. Nice composition.
