This is a very nice macro image, and it would probably do well in a macro related challenge. Every photo is taken from some point of view, and very close is certainly a point of view, but I think the challenge was about something a bit different. Nice photo though!

The border is very distracting. I don't want to judge on the border, but it really takes away. The picture is pretty good.

Nice photo, well-composed, color/clarity good, shallow dof works really well in separating the subject from the background. POV is not bad.

Interesting subject, but I don't really care for the border atleast this color of border, even though it does bring out the colors in the shot it is just a bit overpowering in my opinion. 5
