Is the border supposed to take the place of a focal point for the shot? Just curious...

More like the blinding light. This is a good idea, but if you had a filter on your camera to lessen the glare it would have been a very effective picture |

The lens flare is very blown out which takes away from this shot, if you are going to attempt something like this, you would need to under expose it a lot more. Also the border is overly complicated. |

Sorry, that's just too much light for me. The complicated border takes focus away from the shot. |

What is beautiful to one person might be considered a flaw to another. I try to use flares as part of a composition, not as the composition itself. Personal preference. |

A very bright guiding light. Maybe too bright? |

The border is really destracting and (to be blunt), terrible. It's mis-aligned and looks like it was randomly created. It is hard to create ellaborate borders like this, that's why I don't even try it. :) Live and learn, no big deal. |

glary, washed out, a little heavy on the border. |

I think you went a little overboard with borders and effects here... |

There's the sun! I think this is a near impossible shot to do well. |

Nice idea, but the light is more blinding than guiding. Possibly moving back, or cutting the exposure (which would render the trees darker) would work better. |

no, it's an UFO... I wish there was less glare. |

Interesting border! Flaring sun does make this shot unique but it's a bit too hot and distracts from the other elements. |
