 Little mushrooms started popping up throughout my yard. My house is basically in the woods in the middle of a city. So it's convenient and slightly secluded. I like that. I saw this the other morning (taken 10 feet from my back door).

Beautiful image and I love how the rich textured foreground melds into the bokeh behind the mushroom.

Take that feller down the pub with you cos he looks like a fungi to go with

I like the focal point :) Just off the front edge but just enough off the close edge to bring the whole center ground into focus... interesting idea and it worked well too :)

Very cool! I live in the country & I still don't have neat things to take pictures of :) The only thing growing in my yard is weeds! Ugh...

cool! i had a road runner walk up to my bathroom window and stare at me for about 5 minutes yesterday!... the camera was not handy, unfortunately. i like this little mushroom... and i bet he's providing shade for some tiny creature!
