As  jmsetzler once noted, you can be your best critic: What did you try to show with this photo? What made you take this one, from this angle, with this composition? If you can answer those, (and post the answer into your comments above) then I might be able to relate to the photo some more.
This way, I see a half-closed, perhaps half-dried sunflower, without any context to understand why was this photo worth taking. It is lacking visual appeal of a beautiful healthy colorful plant, and the surrounding leaves are, well, also not that appealing.
