 Got up early to check the weather and found I had clear skys!! I had to get another shot of the moon, no real reason, just thought it was cool.

I have been working on moon shots myself :) Yours are very detailed! Yes, could be a little sharper, but it looks dreamy the way it is.

Hey your moon shots are really coming along! We had a beautiful big red one the other night and I was hoping to get the part that looks like a face. But it shrank and went behind the trees before I could get there lol. Great pic!

Nicely done for a 300mm lens! Most of those really sharp images you see utilize a telescope, if only a small one :-)

I love moon shots!

The centred composition which is offset by the fact that the moon is not full is fantastic. Very sort contrast on the surface but wonderful blackness of space

REally nice exposure. I have often tried taking a photo of the moon and all I get is a big white blob in the sky. There must be a technique. This one is well done, though focus isn't the greatest but it is way better than anything I could ever hope to get, unfocused or otherwise.

lovely shot. and taken with a 300mm lens.. something I might be able to try myself. Although given that sunrise here is about 5am, it might have to wait a bit
