 This is evidence of my gnerdishness. Gnerd being that term of endearment my son uses, combining both 'geek' and 'nerd', pronounced GUH-nerd. A dear friend of mine took it a step further, calling a group of gnerds a 'gnerd gherd'.

This is a coin that came with the Oblivion game we bought for the Xbox 360. We are a family of video gamers - Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii and of course World of Warcraft on the PC. There is nothing better for unwinding at the end of a crappy day at work than to sit down in the evening when the kids are in bed and slay some evil monsters!

Thanks for explaining the origin of this object. It's really very cool. Nice job on the macro: excellent DOF and sharp where it counts.

I like the DOF! It works well with this image. Almost looks sepia because of the tones of the coin too :)

love the color tones and macro. this looks like a shot you could pull out for halloween.
