Well last night me and my friends went to Santa Cruz for the 4th of July and didn't end up getting into (or rather FINDING) our hotel until about 3:30am. There were a bunch of people all crammed into 1 room with 2 beds. Somehow we managed to fit 4 people in each bed (random guys included) but nobody actually slept until about 6am. I had to get back to school (which is 2 hours away) by 8 o'clock. I thought, "screw it, I'll just skip that one". Well I left at about 9 o'clock, but since my friend had to search for her lost phone for a half an hour, I ended up being 30 minutes late to my second class.

So I rush in and my teacher hands me my test and I skimmed thru it only having 1 hour of actual sleep the night before and my only studying was reading my notes while driving to school. THEN I noticed my pencil 'felt' weird and I realized it was a #3 and not a #2 pencil. This wouldn't be a problem, but the scantron (type of test paper) machine only picks up #2 pencil markings. Ugh. So then I had to borrow some girl's pencil to remark over all the bubbles. Oh and after all that I amazingly (and I do mean AMAZINGLY) I got an A-. I have no idea how, but I'm not complaining! Anyway that's my story...not very exciting, but hey--that's my life, lol.

Glad to hear after all those fun and games you pulled an A, nice one! Good story to go with the photo and cool focus with the photo, too!

Great story and one many of us can relate to, only many years ago. The photo and title work wonderfully.

That's quite the story. You could probably have used this for the Nightmare challenge. Good lighting on the number.

Haha, I always end up being the girl who never has a pencil & has to ask random people to borrow one. I've had days like this...no fun.

Oh dear. What a day. At least it all wound up being OK (except I hope you didn't miss a final at that first class, or anything).

Oops. This could be a "nightmare" shot as well. My nightmare (one of them) is that "they" have discovered I actually didn't meet the requirements of graduation or my teaching certificate is not valid and I have to go back to HS. It is not fun, at all, although I usually already know what the teachers are teaching, because I taught HS for five years.

I like the shallow dof here.

It's a good story and brings back good memories for us old people.
Good picture too. Your focus is right where it should be. But where is the world did you find a Number 3?
