(yes, it was real!)

I toned down the red per everyone's suggestion. F5/Refresh - should be a tad better now.

This has a real 1950s look about it. Beautiful profile that girl has.
I like your use of desat, but may be the red could be toned down a bit.

hey- you gave me a start there telling me it appeared as though my macro lens was defective! I had actually wondered the same thing, had just gotten it checked at local Canon dealer & it's fine. whew!! that was strange coincidence :)
