Back to Self-Portrait day.

I set the camera up on the tripod, and of course some of the kids had to come over. I brilliantly composed the shot to have the tops of the flagpoles and blue sky in it, but forgot about the square format...
I had to use the self-timer because the remote controls are in my big camera bag. Meanwhile, other kids were holding onto the tripod, for some reason. (I should have straightened it even more, I guess).

I was also hoping they'd have decorations for the Star Festival up like at the other schools, but nope.

Cute kids. They certainly add to the interest of the photo.

I've had a few occasions where total strangers (both kids and adults) have seen my camera and asked me to take their photo. I've never quite understood what's in it for them, but I've got some pretty nice shots that way.

I love what you are doing with this challenge!! :) Kids are so curious aren't they?? The reflections in the building are mondo interesting and the kids really make this shot something special :)

That kid on the far left makes this whole shot!! Great capture, even without the flag and sky.

Love the kids being kids. Those two fingers must be a universal sign language of some sort. It seems as if in any group shot, someone has to be doing it.

LOL! Its all about the kid on the left . While everyone has a cool pose or look (peeking out from under your hat is great) the kid on the left really makes the shot. Fun pic.
