I managed to pick up a Looney Tunes chess set on ebay a few months ago, and Wile E. is on of the 'black' bishops.

This guy has been one of my all time hero's. Regardless of how much misfortune life heaps on him, he just keeps on getting up, and trying again.

As for the chess side of things... I'm a truly atrocious player, but I do love the game, and the sets. So far, a Napoleon/Wellington set, Looney tunes, Asterix, Dr Who, and a cheap Star Wars one

He looks vicious and ready to go :) I like the angle that you decided upon, not straight on-face forward. The focus is a little soft for my taste but his cuteness makes up for it LOL

He's really cute. I would never have guessed that he was a chess piece. From what you say he sounds like a good hero to have.

That's funny, I never thought of Wile E. like that, he definetely doesn't give up, that's for sure.

They sell anything and everything on ebay, don't they? Great fun shot, and you're right... he's a persistent little guy, isn't he?

Love it! Great photo - I like the softness and the colors. Gives the image a dream-like quality. Great story, too.

It was bad enough that I never beat my military-strategist husband at chess, but when my son started beating me when he was around nine, I gave up and let the two of them duke it out. I'm just not a schemer. And it takes a schemer to be good at chess. (fitting that Wil E Coyote should "play" it, I guess.)

Is he-- he is on roller skates, isn't he? Good detail. Maybe a little soft on the contrast for my taste, but then I'm a contrast fiend.

I've got a chess set from Russia that has American flags on one side and Russian flags on the other. I don't have a clue how to play, but the set is cool.

Wile E. is like the epitome of tenaciousness and fortitude.
