'...and use it to your advantage to swat me into sweet oblivion!'

So I admit it, I hate flies. I have never seen so many flies in my life before I moved to this rural location. This is just one of the collection of about six I captured between the window screen and glass. They are gone now :-)

A most unusual and interesting bug shot. I REALLY need a macro lens. Maybe then I could come up with something half as good.

I'd feel a bit bad about killing it if I took it's picture first. But that's just me. And I'd still kill it cuz its only a fly.

I really like the lines given by the screen in this photo... your title is perfectly fitting also :)

The fact that there is very little detail in the fly's face makes it all the more interesting to look at. I find myself pondering the end and weather or not he suffered. LOL Strong emotional response makes a great photograph and there is much of that response going on. Great job!

Man, this is kinda sad, actually. I mean, I don't like flies either, but you really captured a mood there with your photo and the title. Or maybe I'm just in a mood. Perhaps I should start drinking heavily about now. It's not even 2 PM, you say? Well, it's 5 PM somewhere.

:-O Colleen...mass murderer!!!

I am just amazed by the wonderful DOF here. And the POV rocks. How can something as intrinsically ugly as a fly be turned into an image so beautiful

Definitely my favourite of yours in the challenge to date

Awesome

You have some great shot in your portfolio! I love this angle. I remember seeing a lot of fly shots in the recent insect challenge & none of them really stood out to me, but this being B&W with the fly being all black really stands out!

I like the bw in this. Gives it a simple, graphic feeling.
