 I see alot of these types of canoes along the river. The river is a big part of life around here. The Xingu River is only about 1.5 miles from my home although this canoe was along a smaller tributary about 45 minutes away. The reflections are wonderful and the canoes always colorful. A common sight in my day to day life:)

PS, I shot this with my Fuji S6000, my backup for my Rebel XT.

love love love canoe reflection pictures. Seriously. I go to a ladies' retreat each year at this camp where they have a pond with boats and the first thing I always do is go out and take canoe reflection pictures.

This is very nice. I like the dock, and the way all the lines seem to radiate from the middle left of the picture.

I love reflection shots and this is a great example of one. The fact that the boat looks so old (super colour capture by the way) means that the ripples and the bits on the water complement the shot entirely
