 I do not take my camera to work very often, but today I made an exception. This is my favorite utility worker, Shorty. He is diligent, hard working, and always smiling. Although he does not speak much English and I speak even less Spanish, we always manage to communicate and have a good time.

Ahh kitchen work! I used to do this stuff... you have the same taps and all! You could've entered this into the nightmare challenge :P. Really, great work!

So, uh... where's the smile from the guy who is "alway's smiling"? Hahhaha! Actually, makes the image that more thoughtful that you caught him not doing it. I love the b/w conversion you did. Another nice slice of life from you!

hard and hot work in a kitchen. i enjoy the B&W treatment. the image is slightly tilted.. but that seems to work nicely.

For some reason, I love industrial kitchens. My dream kitchen would be very utilitarian with the big tables and sinks. The B&W does look great on this, too.
