 Took this at the dentist's office. One of my few indoor shots. Moved it from the end table to the entry way to improve the lighting.
One of my "lucky shots"
Very little editing...just a touch of saturation and applied the soft focus.
Didn't have to crop at all.

You did a very nice job with composing this shot. The softness and lighting are lovely.

Very pretty - I really like the softness around the edges of the petals with the sharp focus in the centre of the orchid.

great use of DOF with beautiful results! stunning capture of that orchid in that soft & sweet light. Nice of the office staff to let you move their floral arrangements around :)

It's really hard to get purple right, but you got it :-) The plane of focus is exquisitely placed as well. Lovely.

Beautiful! I think this is my favorite of yours so far! The color of the orchid is great, the composition perfect, and the DOF incredible! Everything is perfect here!

Wow this is a lovely image. I wouldn't change a thing. I like the treatment and the fine detail retained center of flower. Wonderful soft light.
