 Friday, eleven minutes to quittin' time. The clock seems to have stopped and time becomes a vague concept of miserable anticipation. Ernest Hemingway himself couldn't be more depressing.

OR....

Chuck Norris walks into a bar.
No one else walks out alive.
(sorry, I got caught up in the "walks into a bar" thread earlier.)

Amazing how you can have a phone on your desk for years and never notice the dust until you take a silly whim, a moment of total non-creativity, and shoot a macro. It's sad , really, reduced to this after just one week. I used this pic mostly because it was handheld at 1.5 seconds and still came out relatively crisp.
The smiley face sticker was stuck on my phone by the son of a friend who was visiting his mom at the office. It's been there about six years.
Maybe I'm in a rut...

meridian mail... ahhh the memories. love the smiley face making a weak partial appearance- really adds to the clocking moving backwards feel.

I a random sticker stuck on my computer at work that's been there for over 3 years and I can't even remember where it came from. Nice shot

Macros are humbling that way, with the dust.

You seem not to like this shot, but I think you did a good job capturing that Friday-afternoon-time-has-started-moving-backward feeling.

Your story is so poetic! I know what you mean about time crawling though... That is a really clear picture for being handheld!! I tried 1/20s earlier and bah! the results were blurry :) KUDOS X 2!!!!

I'm so shocked that the shutter was at 1.5 sec handheld. I think you stopped along with your clock. Friday's can do that, huh? (And I like the Chuck Norris jokes, gotta love it!)
