I shot this on my kitchen table with a small reading lamp. Slow shutter made dramatic effects on the mask.

strange angle.....I wonder why you cut off the nose....it tends to distract and takes away from the impact of it.

Works really well in b/w, composition and lighting both good. I wonder how it would look if the left eye was also dark. 7

an interesting POV indeed. I like the range of tones here. While it seems like this is striving for a somewhat elegant look, the detail of the mouth, nose and eyeholes is so good that the mask looks cheap and plastic. Some sort of softening (either with a filter, or lighting, or DOF) might help? 7.
