| Good lighting and the negative space gives the flower some depth. Perfect blurring into the darkness on the right! |

The lighting is a bit harsh were you have lost the texture in the yellow petals. However, the image still works reguardless. The center of the flower is in good focus and the bg colors are unique in a lavender tone.
There is surprising amount of depth to the image that causes the flower to move forward toward me. Nice! |

| This shot really jumped out at me when I was looking through the thumbnails. When I opened it, I thought, "Wow!" Amazing shot! Nice DOF. The colors work so well together and I love how the flower really jumps out at you. Perfect! |

| Turning away from the negative space made possible, wonderful, because of that shadow. Reminds me of someone turning away because they don't want to hear what your saying. Great image. |
