Composition is good. There IS a lot of orange in this photo, which I think is fine, but the flowers need something more to make them stand out. Possible playing with hue/saturation or curves could bring out the yellow and green in the flower centers. They also need to be a bit more luminous.

Orange is not one of my favorite colors so I'm wondering if that is effecting my opinion of this image. Since I find there is something not quite right here. I believe its either slightly undexposed or there is a color cast that is washing the whole thing a little to orange. The green should be greener. The focus on the petals is perfect. You have good texture, and the colors are not blinding which orange has a tendancy to do. I can't put my finger on it but technically this should be working perfectly. Maybe It is just because its my least faved color.

Beautiful shade of orange that gives a feeling of soft warmth to the shot.

Ah! More delicious oranges...this is completely delightful...beautiful light and the focus is total perfection.

ETA...Longwood gardens! I love that place...I used to live in lower Bucks Co. before I moved to Tennessee. Every time I go I think about what it must have been like to have a "yard" like that...must have been a dream.

beautiful glowing orange, in a nice way, like it glows, not like it's nuclear or anything...:)
the ODF is sweet here, as is the repetition of that lovely color!
