I used a mirror for this. The red half is the reflection.
I have no idea how this will score... I love it, so it probably won't do well. I know the composition is really bad, but the angles with the mirror were so bizarre!! :)
For editing, I duplicated the image, turned it blue, pasted it back over the original, and erased out what I wanted with the brush on clear. Hope this is legal.... Lots of burning and dodging, some spot editing on the face, selective color, brightness and contrast, hue and saturation, and levels. |

Amazing shot. It has a strange sort of Yin and Yang quality to it because the blue eyes match the opposing blue skin tone on the right, and the butterfly matches the butterfly matches the skin tone on the left.
Thoughtful, entrancing work. |

it's definitely legal because Shannon wants to keep his red ribbon in Lucky 7! ;D |

self portrait? You're just a kid! I had no idea from your amazing work.
This is, once again, terrific work and completely under appreciated. Far better concept and shoot and post than the blue in any other forum but this one. what an odd place this is.
you have extraordinary talent. DPC has no reflection on the real world that I have found yet! :-) |

Very cool and kind of spooky. Certainly the subjects pictured are very different, but it looks like they are working together rather than mutually excluding each other. I will really look forward to the photographer's comments on this one. Are you illustrating the dichotomy of nature that is within us all? It's so cool that I'll put aside my confusion over adherance to the challenge theme - 8. |

Well done. Your model is really acting well. That makes all the difference. And good lighting to get rid of background helps too! |

I just went through the thumbnails and your photo got my attention. Now, that I'm looking at the large version, it REALLY has my attention! If this isn't the Blue Ribbon winning photo, I'll eat that flutterby! No doubt about it: 10! |
