How about this for DPC dedication:

Took this shot during a trip to Boston. Went to an internet cafe. Paid $10 to have a CDR cut from a CF card. Then paid $0.40 a minute to edit the shot, and I'm now paying $0.20 a minute to write this and upload!

Fence in the back is a bit distracting, maybe a shallower DOF. Also the tail seems more in focus than the eyes. Exposure is great, especially in the presence of snow. Overall, good job!

a little overexposed, would have been better with some texture in the snow

The exposure on the squirrel is spot on. The snow is a little bright. Where is his cheeseburger? You just expect him to eat fries? This is a cute shot, but I'm not really sold on it being a great photo for this challenge. If he were in a tree, eating curly fries, then I think I'd be more apt to vote it higher. Really, its a good shot of the squirrel. I'm just not keen on the environment you shot him in.

Lovely detail in the paws and tail - you can feel the sharpness and softness. Looks like he moved his head a bit, it isn't as clear. Maybe a crop from the top and the left would bring the composition together more.

such a great squirrel shot - i struggel to get them this good. Only bad point is the wire in the background. I guess that is why you titled it urban. 7

Great catch, with the bin in the background and the french fries in its paws.
