Probably my favourite of the challenge. I do like the repeated geometry, but the lone figure makes the photo - why is he there, what is he doing, what is he thinking?

Very interesting shot. I love the balance of the dark openings and the side columns. It certainly does make you wonder what those stairs lead to.

There 5 poles on the left, 6 on the right, 5 holes, 8 spikes. It seems almost accidental that there are 7 steps. Nice lines and composition though, and the person adds to the shot, even if only to wonder why they are there, looking so out of place.

Am I the only one who counts six steps? Ah well, close enough. This is a shot that took a great, artistic eye to spot the right angle and having the person in it makes it much more interesting. The pic has an Escher feel to it. Well done!
