| Not a dichotomy, just a contrast - a neat one, though. Nice use of rule of thirds, and the blank background works. I really like this photo, but I don't think it meets the challenge. My sense the aesthetics wins out over jurisprudence - 7. |

| Nice but I think I can see the glue/stitch marks on the pepper. Maybe the liquify tool would be handy here? |

| if the thing is already cut , shouldn't the knife be with its blade pointing down? |

| The sloppy seam draws attention to it. Otherwise, a nice shot and great idea. |

| I like this photo, perhaps there are better shots in the contest but this have a great impact. is a typical photo for a contest. I think that the top ten isn't impossible. |
