Not a big fan of overused partial de-sat, but this one caught my attention. It does give an interesting perspective into the passing of life and how fragile it is. I would have preferred to see the kid's shoes in Sepia, and they would still pop out. Another thing I would have tried differently is to see the scene from a lower angle.

Nice use of color vs. black and white. Maybe the older shoes could have been in rougher shape - "scarred by life" as it were. Nicely done. 8 |
