I would have cropped more off the bottom to emphasize the patterns and textures. I would leave a little bit of the blues but not much. The royal blues really take away from the color of the lantern to me.

The combination of colours really appeals to me. The petunias show well against the blue wall. Nicely done! |

Bright colors just fill this photo. I like that you included the lantern (too bad it wasn't a bit more rustic). Seems like the flowers need to be brighter as the turquoise and blue colors kind of dominate. |

lucky you with the grandchild visit- I had one too !
That is million bells-calabrocha (sp) is the other name. I love the elements in your photo- very summery with complementing colors. |

Nice idea, four distinct elements arranged in the composition to create a wonderful photograph. Nice color, like the blue in the lower left corner. |
