 Moving day, at last! Once the movers left, we set about hooking things up, cutting shrinkwrap off the furniture, and dusting it all. While Dad ran off in search of a part for my dryer, I spent a few minutes admiring the view from my balcony as an unforecast storm blew in. Not only can I see Starbucks from the balcony, but I can actually see into the store as well. It's really too bad I don't like coffee.

Really funny, it does have a prison-look to it, aided by the rather drab desaturated colors around it. Looks like good country to hike around!

I agree with rachelellen, the "glorified coffee-flavored milkshake-like beverages" are wonderful. Great view!

As far as I'm concerned, Starbucks is not about coffee (which I dislike). It's about glorified coffee-flavored milkshake-like beverages (which I adore).

You know, this whole series of photos from you has me feeling your excitement about moving. Great job -- kudos to you for starting this project at this point in time; I think you'll be glad you did. I certainly am. :)

I actually thought it was a prison tower. We will have a Starbuck's opening nearby home soo, probably this week. I like the caramel whatsit (I'm not a coffee fan either.)

Congratulations on the move.

That Starbuck's looks like Ft. Apache, probably as a nod to your town's role in the history of the American West. One of ours has a red tile roof and a Moorish door. They do make a good cup of coffee. You may wind up liking it.

Stunning view, love the clouds and the impending storm! Processing in this is wonderful too! No coffee? I'm not a all day coffee drinker like many people I know but a nice cup of black coffee and a cheese danish first thing in the morning is tough to beat!!
