Pointing the camera up a tree doesn't strike me as interesting or requiring much imagination, as evidenced by the number of people who chose to do it for this challenge. At least shooting at a different time of day that offered a more interesting quality of light might have helped. Sorry, 2.

One of my favorite "up the tree" shot. The bark is full of texture and leads my eye into the top frons. Minor point - I think I would like to see less sky and more subject
