I shot this in mind for the challenge during a fireworks show.

I have been wanting to try to enter a challenge where I did nothing but lightroom raw conversions, no spot editing or anything whatsoever. this was forcefully that challenge.

i adjusted white balance, cropped, and finished. i formatted my laptop today, forgetting this challenge ended today...and can't find my photoshop cs3 cd :S

so until i find it, looks like i'm stuck with lightroom only ;)

i expect maybe a 5.5 out of this, nothing more, but i really like it.

i achieved the curved lines by zooming in and out during the 10 second exposure. i liked the effect, hope you do as well :D

***seconds before roll-over*** didn't take the time to mess with the color space, and i know this is going to suck now. it looks terrible on my screen, nothing like what it looked like in lightroom. this sucks. we'll see, i think it'll be fun to see what everyone thinks of this. :P

4th of July? Or something else. Fits the challenge and technically fine. My only nitpick would be (and the is personal preference of course) if all the lines were evenly going away from that center light point. For the most part they are but those few with jagged turns are the ones that I'm speaking of. Depending on what it is and how you shot it I don't know that there was anything you could have done differently to accomplish what I'm saying but that would make the shot go with the title better for me.
