Challenge: Free Study 2007-07 (Advanced Editing V*)
Camera: Canon EOS-5D

Aperture: f/20
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/8

Date Uploaded: Jul 9, 2007

Took this shot while on a camping trip with my family over Independence Day. I really liked the composition of this shot, with the main falls taking up about a third of the photo, cutting in to it from the upper right corner, and then a smaller, less significant waterfall coming straight down on the upper left. I left the bare rocks in the foreground to add more depth and interest to the photo.

Editing includes Librodo's sharpen technique, conversion to mono with a color layer on top, mode set to color, to change color effect equal to the mono layer. Then increased saturation by about 50%, resized, added borders and saved.

Pretty falls! You captured them well. Did these myself a few weeks ago. Fun place to photograph.

Very beautiful falls and photograph. The long exposure on the water is just perfect. I wonder if including the interesting flat rock in the foreground could of given this a little more depth.
