Nice curving lines produced by both stem and flower parts add so much to this composition. Colors are nice, and DOF is really good. Wish the background were more uniform and that you had cloned out the flies. |

poor drooping old white fly infested squash flower....sigh
I love these things as a meal, pick 'em early morn, keep them in cold, then dredge in egg/milk, then breadcrumbs, fry up in olive oil with a little garlic..DELISH!! yummy with mayo too...just make sure you get them befor ethe white flies do!
as for the photo, I think you've captured awesome detil & color there and it's great against that leaf for bg!

Great focus and detail of the flowers. I agree patio127 in wishing the bottom left was also a leaf. |

I had a couple of these last year. They got so large I couldn't believe it. I didn't get one Pumpkin, just a lot of flowers and leaves. This is nice. Reminds me of last years debacle. |

I really like the clarity of this- wish the left bottom corner was the same bg as the rest. I'm sure some photo shop genius could do it- not me ! |

Break out the spot healing brush! Away with all those white spots and you have a winner. |

Great Capture on the squash blossom. Beautiful colors in this photo. The three tiny white thingys in the background are a bit distracting to me. |

This is much better big than as the thumbnail! Love the little drops falling off. The flower is very beautiful, clear where it needs to be clear, and has good colour. The background is strange - is that a leaf or something on the ground? |
