 Detour find #3. This was shot from a relatively new subdivision that is just across the road from this old farm. You can find these old decaying farms in pretty good numbers in Tennessee. They are , however, slowly disappearing as more farmers are selling off their land to real estate developers to build business parks and subdivisions for families moving to the suburbs.

Very nice. Decaying old buildings can produce really nice photos. And the cows add a lot to the composition.

This is also quite common a bit farther from where I'm at here in Kansas. It always makes me a bit sad when I see old and neglected buildings.

Great composition on this shot. Love the positioning of the grain silo (?) and the fact that whilst the sides seem to be falling into ruin the top looks pristine and quite out of place with the outbuildings (almost as if it is summoning a last attempt at dignity before the end draws near

Yep. There was a wonderful old barn and silo that I loved to shoot. When I went by the other day, there is now a modular home lot in front of it. yech. Guess that's why they don't ask my opinion on such things.

Those cows make that thing look huge.
