Oh no, DNMC because it doesn't show a line or group of something with a hole in it, or a sequence of things like monkey to human! Gasp!

... I hope people will be smarter than that.. :-)

***From the Critique Club***

First Impression - the most important one:
Intriguing, yet very simple... perhaps a little too simple. The bright spot in the top right hand corner seems to distract me from the image.
Composition:
Let me just say I'm glad it's not directly in the centre of the picture! :) I am very much intrigued by the camera angle.
Subject:
The subject in this picture, the paper clip doesn't for me directly relate to a missing link. I very much like the idea that you were going for, but I think there could be a better object to "find" that relates to a linkage of some sort. I do like how you avoid stereotypical ideas like the monkey to man bit.
Technical (Colour, focus, and light):
The blue is very nice, I think personally, I would have liked to see the surface a little softer, more like the edges of the picture. That is just my preference.
Artistic:
Definitely creative I'll give you that, but as I explain later it is missing something else.
To grow its vote?:
To grow this pictures vote? I do think you would need another element in the picture, something not to take away from the simplicity of the image, but something to give the picture a little more subtle character.
Summary:
Overall, I really like the picture, but it is a bit too simple. There nothing that really makes me want to stare at the picture longer. You know how great pictures you just want to look at for a long time?? Well as good as the image is, it is missing that. It̢۪s not one of your strongest pictures, (like peep peep, I love that picture) but hey its higher then your average, so keep that up and your loving it!

Keep being creative and challenging yourself.

Happy shooting, Cboydrun!

this is brilliant - insightful, subtle, requires thought. A recipe for doom with this bunch.

How can this be 90 with a stupid photo of a sunset 11 places ahead of you?

With any number of insipid photos that have nothing to do with the challenge but the title (mine included).

Sorry - sorry they aren't very bright. :-)

I'm creating my own ribbons - this is the one that pushed me over the edge!

I like the colour of the background but am not sure about the fabric. Would also be nice if it weren't quite so light in the top right.

Lots of negative space leaves me wondering why.

Pushing the envelope a little too much in meeting the challenge for me.
