 Just a Day Lily in the parking lot island. Such a technical shoot - I actually rolled down the car window to get a clearer picture.

Jeez at least you rolled down your window. I'd love to follow you around one day shooting (although I don't know if I could keep up!).

This is lovely and I'm jealous. Great tones, just a touch of brownish red (at least on my monitor). Good choice for this.

You make it sound so easy! Great angles for lighting emphasizing texture and shadows. Nicely seen and captured.

Hey, whatever works! I've seen so many day lilies on this thread, that this is so refreshing. Excellent choice with the desaturation, drawing more attention to the lines and curves. Lighting is perfect - looks like a studio set-up!

It's usually pretty hit or miss with flowers in B&W but you smacked it right on the head with this pic. Your focus and detail is great as is the composition, nicely done!

Nice border! Monochrome puts attention on the texture, which this lily has plenty of. Sweet!

so luminous, looks almost HOLY! & you took this from your car? so glad you took the time to roll the window down.
