I find the lighting a bit to harsh for me.

Doesn't look washed out to me. Nice image, butterfly is an added bonus and it's nice that his color doesn't compete with the flower.

Beautiful butterfly, and the flower is fantastic too! Wonderful capture!

Pinks and greens are very delicate and restful to view. The one wing of the flutterby that buttered fly is a little over bright. :)

Nice capture of the white sulfur butterfly - generally when they land, they close their wings. This would be difficult to post-process because of the petal on the left that is out of the sun. Really good DOF and POV.

Great butterfly-candid! The light is a bit harsh on the wing to the right. The pinks are great, as is the gentle curve of the pistils??? (things in the middle of the flower.)

Always a plus to have a butterfly land at just the right moment!

Overall this does seem a bit washed out. Grab a cup of coffee regardless.
Try a real simple adjustment:
Image, Levels, now grab the center pointer under the histogram and slide it to the right until you get the desired richness, watching the middle input box on top of the histogram -> 0.75 seems about right. A lot more could be done, but a simple drop in the Neutrals helps a lot, while retaining the highlights and shadows.

Wonderful capture! I maybe would play with exposure a little, but the color is really beautiful, not to mention the pretty butterfly !

Lovely. The DOF works great here to accent the lily. The butterfly is great! I've been trying to catch one all summer, no luck yet.

The word "blowsy" comes to mind, sort of an antique feel to it.

wow ... really well done ... love the color of that lily ... DOF is perfect, creating that nice creamy bokeh background ...
