 ring light baby.

this was not my original idea, but the original idea wasn't working and it evolved into this. this is much better. I hope the colors are ok. My screen isn't calibrated...

When I see this really good image which is also perfect for the challenge, I'm totally surprised it didn't do better. It was one of my top scorers, I love the lighting and the composition. The eyes having different shapes from looking from under the brow, the ring flash reflected in the eyes, the teeth bared and the light shining on the tip of the knife. Also the maniac look in the eyes is a real scarer. I would have wished you well over a 6. with this. Bummer that it's so underrated.

alright - he's creepy and those eyes and teeth - eeeeek - you and your model have used light, expression, and shadow to give this a dream-like feel -- one of my favorites this challenge
