Night, two incandescent desk lamps, my Leica, a car tire, and a zoom lens on my 1D. Zoomed out during the 1/15th exposure.

Editing: Desat, curves, resize, save.
Disqualification Details
You must retain your original, unedited file (exactly as recorded by your camera), and provide it to the Site Council along with a list of your editing steps within 48 hours of any validation request. Files that have been saved or altered with any editing or transfer software are NOT originals.

Pity about the DQ. I like this a lot. Though it looks like it was highly underrated by the voters in any case.

For the record, I didn't cheat, I just didn't have internet access to submit the original and got auto-dq'ed.

the perceived motion of the image works pretty well for this image - but it still lacks something that I can't quite put my finger on

I am wondering how you achieved the motion blur in only half the image since this was basic editing
