When I was in college, I had a papasan chair that I loved. It went to Florida with me, but by the time I returned to Illinois it was in pretty sad shape and wasn't going to survive the move. Leaving it behind was sad. But what can you do?
Well, I'll tell you. When you move into a condo with a killer covered balcony, you find a mamasan on Craigslist for $40 and drive to Westminister to get it.
On a slightly more serious note, though, I wanted something comfy for this corner, but didn't want to spend a lot of money since it will be left outside. The balcony is covered, and I've discovered that the rain doesn't come in very far, but I wanted something that I wouldn't cry about if the rain blew in a little too far. A gently used mamasan - which is the double-wide papasan - was the perfect solution.
EDIT: Took the shot below much later tonight. She was reluctant at first, but now is so enamored I doubt I'll be able to convince her to come inside tonight.

I used to have a papasan. I think I'd like a mamasan better. It looks like it can fit two people pretty comfortably. Gotta love Craigslist!!
eta: whoa! That's a cool little...um...I can't remember what they're called. Church gremlin (that's what I'll call it).
