 This is looking in the door of the Paradise Cafe a block from where I work. It's taken from my car while stopped at a red light.

I feel as if I have finally come of age photographically. I've seen good shots from the car before, but usually by the time I get the lens cap off, the camera turned on again and focused, the person has moved or the light has changed and I'm holding up traffic. Today I got lucky, or I think I did!

You certainly managed to get a winner here. I like how you were able to expose correctly for the inside of the bar, and great detail throughout the shot. Not luck.

This is a really good "slice of life." I appreciate your description of your shooting method -- I find I'm often too slow in these situations (especially as my point-and-shooter takes a few seconds to get ready).

This is beautiful, I really appreciate good street photography, and this is just amazing. You've really captured the soul of the cafe lifestyle. Fav.

yep i reckon you got lucky .. great shot .. your composition, the doors forming a sort'v frame for the interior of the cafe & the light and shadow are all excellent . :)
