| i love the iridescent quality of this shot....my eye keeps returning to the circular patterns as well....wonderful use of color....i hope this picture does very well! |

| Excellent idea, good execution. I find the rings fascinating and this is one of ny favurite photos in this challenge. I would have preferred more backlighting on the onion, but that is only a minor thing. Well done. |

| I think you controlled the lighting well. Did you shift colors, use colored light, or is this just the way it is? |

| Fantastic use of lighting; I can't decide as to how; clever foreground lighting or a very bright back light. Whatever, it really brings out the fractal patterns of the subject and displays the beauty within the onion that would normally remain unseenĂ¢€Â¦ (9) |
