So I racked my brain, for days trying to figure out what to do for a paper picture, I had some other ideas, none of which turned out well. I thought the picture was nice in in simplicity, one piece of paper, a picture drawn, and cut out to be folded up. I got the inspiration from an artist who works only in paper.

this is a great idea, in my opinion what lowered your scored was your composition, in other words, i think the camera almost at level with the paper would have given this a more dramatic effect.

Greetings from the critique club!

I think the general consensus is that this was a pretty neat idea. Despite what the one previous comment mentions most people would say this is creative. The other consensus however is that a different angle would help.

That aside, I see you mentioned you were stumped for ideas. Even though this was the first paper challenge there are a lot of "paper" pictures on this site. (Go under photos then search). Even Google can help. Not just by seeing pictures but reading about different related topics.

In the end this is still pretty good shot for your second entry. I'm sure we'll be seeing you improve over the weeks.

rather boring image ,there is no drive and no creativity . You obviusly have run out of ideas and looks like lost desire to put more effort. Next time better luck ,try to aprieciate others photography to achieve.

Very intriguing, both the paperwork and the photo - looks metallic. Like the lighting as it is.

That's pretty neat (although somber).

Good idea, maybe would benefit from a little lower angle for more depth.

nice work. I'd also like to see this in closer, with an angle a little lower down to the paper

The setup is black and white, but desatting it has lost the subtle colours of reality, so it looks a little blank. Nice pseudo shadows though.

i like the idea and appreciate the work might have gone behind this shot. congratulation on the success.
I just learned about Peter Callesen and his work from one of the entries in this challenge. I will have to try this myself.
